Larkin Vonalt has been involved with dogs for most of her life– more than half a century at this point. In addition to raising, training and showing dogs, she is the president of her local kennel club and long-time show chair. After 30 years in rescue, she’s left that to people with stronger hearts.
She is a retired journalist and executive director of the Book Fair Foundation in Dayton, Ohio. In addition to dogs, she is devoted to her chosen home town, lobster rolls, the Columbus Blue Jackets and the tending of nice old things, including her husband.
